After a few grey, blustery days the sun came out today…and along with the sun we have cherry trees in bloom! Yes, spring is just around the corner. And that is what we love about Charlotte. A shorter winter, early spring and abundant sunshine. Looking to move to sunnier climates? Consider a move to Charlotte. Take a look at the following statistics:
Comparison of Charlotte, Cleveland and Pittsburgh
- In Charlotte the average days of sun per year is 109 with an additional 105 partly sunny days which is a total of 214 days with some sun per year according to this website here.
- This same website charts the average days of sun for Cleveland, OH (where I grew up) as 66 sunny days with 97 partly sunny for a total of 163 days with some sun.
- For 20 years I lived in the Pittsburgh area. Pittsburgh gets only 59 sunny days a year with 103 partly sunny days for an abysmal total of 162 days with some sun.
Tired of the Grey Skies? Move to Charlotte
Even today with the grey skies this morning, followed by thunderstorm warnings, once the storm passed the sun came out.
With current low interest rates it’s a great time to consider purchasing a home in one of the Lake Norman communities just north of Charlotte. Click on the links to see what’s available:
